Your role will focus on helping clients develop practical skills that support independent living, emotional wellness, and long-term stability.

Schedule: 
Full-TimeMonday through FridayServices are provided between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM based on client needs and availability.Typical schedules are generally between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
This position is community-based and requires travel throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

Minimum QualificationsApplicants must qualify as a Minnesota Mental Health Practitioner under ARMHS requirements.Common qualifying pathways include:
Option 1Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or a related field.
Option 2Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or a related field and at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience working with:Mental illnessSubstance use disordersEmotional disturbance
Verification of qualifying experience from previous employers is required.Official transcripts will be required prior to hire.

Position SummaryAs a RECOVERY Coach (CPRS), you will use your lived experience in recovery to encourage, support, and empower individuals working toward their recovery goals.RECOVERY Coaches partner with clients to develop recovery and wellness plans, navigate community resources, strengthen healthy routines, rebuild relationships, and work toward personal goals related to housing, employment, and overall well-being. You will work alongside licensed behavioral health professionals to provide coordinated, person-centered care while helping clients build confidence, resilience, and long-term recovery.This is more than a job. Minimum QualificationsApplicants must:Hold a current Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certification through the Minnesota Certification Board (MCB).Have personal lived experience in recovery.Maintain at least one year of continuous sobriety.Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Building supportive, recovery-focused relationships with clients.Providing one-on-one peer support in person, virtually, or by phone.Assisting clients in creating and achieving individualized recovery goals.Connecting clients with community resources, employment, housing, healthcare, and other supportive services.Helping clients identify triggers and strengthen healthy coping strategies.Recognizing situations that require clinical intervention and collaborating with licensed professionals.Maintaining timely, accurate, and confidential documentation.Participating in weekly supervision and ongoing professional development.Modeling healthy recovery and maintaining personal wellness.
